Chapel of San Juan
It has always been popularly known as “San Juan Talako” (San Juan of the Watchtower). Although the date of its foundation is unknown, it already appears documented in 1594. It is known the land it was built on fell into the sea in 1715 and was rebuilt in 1772.
The square in front of it used to hold pieces of artillery which defended the entrance to the port of Lekeitio.
