Casa rural Kurtxia

Kurtxia country house is located in the neighborhood of the same name in the municipality of Ispaster, within the Lea-Artibai region. About two kilometers away from Lekeitio, main center of the Lea-Artibai region. It is also very close to the Urdaibai region; two regions that combine deeply rooted personalities, as well as different and complementary; one linked to the sea, the other one linked to land. The building, at present restored to host visitors, keeps the architectural and historical features of the time. At the beginning of the 17th century there was already evidence of its existence. Nestled in a peculiar landscape, where the sea and the mountains merge to form a unique natural environment, the Kurtxia farmhouse emerges. A typical building whose dispersion in space constitutes a common and very peculiar feature.The great landscape variety, together with its quietness and calmness, results in a unique environment which enters, through its viewpoints, the brave and lofty waters of the Cantabrian Sea, dotted with the vivid colors of the ships in their continuous comings and goings to the port shelter. The building offers the visitors the chance to spend a few days in contact with nature and get immersed in the aroma of traditions and culture in its purest form in rustic, cozy and very warm spaces.
