Abaroa Palace

It was built in 1891 as the residence oj José María Abaroa, an important businessman born in Lekeitio but settled in Paris.
The building designed by the architect A. Feiner, is inspired in the Second French Empire models, which Mansard style slate roofing and beautiful decorative mouldings.
Following the customs in building of this kind, the small palace is surrounded by an spacious garden.
